Hannah, thank you so much for letting me know. I have a song I'd love to send you for your friend. If you'd like that, email me at mt@michaeltomlinson.com and I'll email you back my song, "Since You Came."
Thank you so much, Jilena. When we were young, we didn't realize that it would become common to lose people we love. There is always a somberness in those losses, but I am grateful that I feel their presence and know that they are still with me.
Tom, what a lovely surprise to hear this from you. Realizing that you knew her poetry and loved it really makes your response deeply moving to me. Thank you, Tom.
I so enjoyed your tribute to Mary Oliver. I shared it with a friend who had just lost her brother and the images in the poems and your song were a comfort to her. Thank you Michael 🤎
I absolutely love your Mary Oliver song. What a magnificent and fitting tribute to the incredible human being and wordsmith she was! It is so heartfelt and genuine and your lyrics honor and do justice to her poetic style. Like "Seeds of Love" is such an exemplary tribute to Jimmy Carter, so this piece is to the incomparable Mary Oliver. I listened to it twice and now shall back for another (or several more) listens. Bravo, my friend!

Thank you for your Mary Oliver song. It is a beautiful tribute to her, and means a lot to me as I process the eventful, but normal, losses in my life.
